Tarot Readings

I do tarot readings for people with a few caveats. First, I'm not doing anything magical. Maybe some people do, but I'm not doing anything you couldn't do with any number of archetypal images. What I'm doing is reflecting and reframing questions people have so that they can then think through them differently, from another perspective.

Tarot originated somewhere around the 1700s as a playing card game in Europe. Since then, it's taken on spiritual significance to some people. I'm not here to knock them; it's just not what I'm doing. At some point, I heard tarot referred to as "spicy psychology" and that is a much closer description to my philosophy of the cards.

Tarot is also not a substitute for therapy. If you ask me "should I keep living," I will tell you yes and give you a crisis hotline number and maybe a cup of tea and a warm blanket. Tarot is more for "how should I think about this choice in front of me," style questions. It's for creative problem solving at its prettiest.... Yes, I said prettiest. My decks are pretty and I like them quite a lot. This has nothing to do with the original topic, but I figured I'd throw it in.

I do charge for tarot, but generally it's more of a vibe than a set price. One card readings are in the $5 range. Three and four card readings are in the $15-$20 range. More complicated and we can discuss. You send me an email, I email you back, I invoice you through PayPal invoicing and ta-da! I send you a typed up reading and a photo of your spread and hopefully it connects to something for you. Tarot is, after all, for entertainment purposes only, but that doesn't mean you can't find something particular to your situation in it. A lot of people do. Unfortunately, there are no refunds unless I fail to deliver the product.
