Writing and Editing

Quiara holds a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing, specifically non-fiction. They have done writing and editing on a freelance basis for more than a decade. They have written for Hey, Alma and xoJane among other publications and have edited everything from short stories and poetry to term papers and articles.

Rates:

• Non-fiction: 10¢/word or $100 flat fee for articles up to 1200 words

• Copyediting fiction : $25/hr for up to 10 pages; $35/hr for up to 300 pages. Average 7-8 pages/hour

• Copyediting non-fiction: $35/hr for up to 10 pages; $50/hr for up to 300 pages. Average 7-8 pages/hour

• Proofreading fiction: $25/hr, average 11-13 pages/hour

• Proofreading nonfiction: $30/hr average 11-13 pages/hour
